Volunteer Stewards play a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe and enjoyable experience for everyone visiting the arts centre.

What you’ll do

As a Volunteer Steward, you’ll welcome visitors, help create a calm and friendly atmosphere, and support exhibitions and events by keeping spaces safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

What you’ll gain

You’ll build confidence, meet new people, and gain hands‑on experience in a vibrant arts centre. It’s a great way to learn more about art and events, develop customer‑facing skills, and feel part of a supportive community team.

The impact you’ll make

Your presence helps visitors feel welcome and included, supports artists and staff, and ensures the arts centre remains a warm, safe and inspiring place for the whole community.
