Box Office Volunteers are the friendly face of the arts centre, helping customers buy tickets, answering questions, and creating a welcoming first impression.

What you’ll do

As a Box Office Volunteer, you’ll welcome visitors, sell and issue tickets, answer customer queries, and help people feel confident and excited about attending events. You’ll be a friendly, helpful presence at the heart of the arts centre.

What you’ll gain

You’ll develop customer service and administration skills, gain experience using ticketing systems, and learn how an arts venue operates behind the scenes. It’s a great way to build confidence, meet people, and feel part of a creative team.

The impact you’ll make

Your support helps ensure events run smoothly, audiences feel welcomed and informed, and artists and staff are supported—making culture accessible and enjoyable for the whole community.
