Residents from across Somerset are being warmly invited to attend two upcoming Volunteer Fairs this June, offering the chance to discover rewarding volunteering opportunities, meet new people, and make a positive difference in their local community.

The events are open to everyone and are designed to help people learn more about volunteering, develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with local organisations looking for support. Volunteering is a fantastic way to give back, gain valuable experience, make friendships, and become more involved in the community.

Two fairs will take place across Somerset:

Taunton Volunteer Fair

Taunton Library

Monday 1 June

10am–12pm

Yeovil Volunteer Fair

Yeovil Community Church, Addlewell Lane, Yeovil

Wednesday 3 June

10am–12pm

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with a variety of organisations offering different volunteering roles, with something to suit a wide range of interests, skills, and availability.
