Open Mental Health volunteering

Welcome to the Open Mental Health Volunteering page

Volunteering is a great way to improve our mental health & wellbeing. Through volunteering we connect with our local communities, meet new people, learn new skills, and put our life experience & knowledge to good use - and we enjoy ourselves!

Volunteers are an integral part of Open Mental Health, there are so many opportunities across Somerset, and we welcome new people.

You can find the current Open Mental Health volunteering roles listed on this page. Simply click on the one that interests you and follow the steps.

Not sure how to begin?

We know that getting started, finding your way around websites, filling in forms can be quite a challenge, so you could ask for extra support from one of our Open Mental Health Volunteering Buddies. Click on the Need Help Button and ask for the Open Mental Health Volunteering Buddies Coordinator to contact you.

Or use the Need Help button and someone from the Spark A Change Team will get in touch.
