Summary

We're looking for additional support to help us tidy and tame our growing content library.

Detailed description

Our small (but brilliant!) comms team deliver a range of different kinds of communications across multiple channels, to a variety of different audiences to support the Trusts campaign work, fundraising and engagement activities. Digital communications has become a particularly important part of our communications with our supporters, members and the wider community. We have a user friendly website, use email marketing to send out a range of newsletters and digital content and provide content for our busy and dynamic social media feeds. Aggregating brilliant and exciting content for our channels to encourage people to take action for nature is really important as is the inclusion of high-quality imagery and video too.

We’re looking for additional support to help us tidy and tame our growing content library which includes everything from information, campaign packs, images, photos, graphics and videos. There will also be some additional data organising/managing tasks and, for those who aren’t phased by digital platforms and have analytical minds, the opportunity to help us put together our monthly digital reports. There might well also be some small research projects to get stuck into to support the work off the Communications team.

You’ll be working as part of the comms teams with opportunities to join occasional meetings and learn about how wildlife charities plan and deliver our key messages. This role would particularly suit someone interested in developing a career in comms or marketing who would like to gain some nitty-gritty experience, perhaps alongside study, as working time can be flexible to suit you.

This role encompasses several discrete projects which we anticipate will take an estimate period of 3 months to complete if volunteering around 2 hours per a week.
