Summary
Events Volunteers marshal at the Museum’s events, some of which are regular, some one offs. They often take place at weekends and / or in the evening.Detailed description
Tasks can include
- Checking tickets and directing vehicles at events
- Providing a friendly and warm welcome and communicating clearly with visitors
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people with a friendly and approachable manner who are happy to be outside whatever the weather, who have clear communication skills and want to welcome a diverse range of event attendees to the Museum.
Training and support
We provide all volunteers with an induction. Additional training for all tasks and equipment use will be provided as necessary.
