Frome Furniture Shop Volunteers
Do you have some free time on your hands? Would you like to volunteer for a good cause? Would you like to be part of a great team of volunteers? PAT Testers — we need a volunteer to help PAT test all the electrical donations we receive to make them ready for sale. We need people from Wednesday – Sunday, times are flexible so it could fit around existing commitments. eBay Volunteers – a flexible role to help us research, sort and package items to sell on eBay. These get sent off on a Tuesday so would be a perfect weekend volunteer role but can work around your availability. We’d need you for around 4 hours per week and full training will be provided Furniture Experts – no experience needed! Help needed in our ‘back of house’ sorting stock and preparing it for sale. You’ll be helping customers load up their cars and accepting donations so some customer service skills would be great. You’ll need to be able to move items of furniture around so physical strength would also be an asset. We need support with this every day! You'll meet new people, learn some new skills and build your confidence. Plus you'll be supporting the work of Dorothy House Hospice - our charity shops are invaluable in helping us raise funds to support patients, families and carers. NVQs in retail and customer services are on offer if you are looking to get back into work Various shifts available - if you can spare four hours once a week that would be great!
