SummaryThe role of Admin Volunteer is essential for the smooth running of the busy and relaxed Employment Hub.
The role Administration volunteer is essential for our Community Employment Hubs for smooth running of the hub. This could be updating client information, developing social media content, research and networking, updating resources, creating volunteer newsletters or marketing as well as anything else administration related according to the needs of the Community Employment Hubs. When this support is delivered well, the hub spaces are efficient, calm, welcoming, supportive and informative!
Admin Volunteer (based in one of the Community Hubs or based at home)
- Could be supporting any of the following tasks including; providing day to day office support, marketing, social media content, research and networking, updating resources, developing infographics.
- Will be handling sensitive data about clients so will need confidentiality training, GDPR.
- Will have to use SWT gadget in a public place to complete work so will need training on keeping gadget and data safe
Community Employment Hub admin volunteer
Volunteer information: We are looking for valued volunteers to help out at our Community Employment Hubs to support people in our community towards work.
Where: Taunton Town Centre and we also have Hub location in Minehead, Watchet, Williton, Wellington, Dulverton, Stogursey, Halcon and Priorswood.
Commitment: Minimum 3 hour session, one morning (when you can), in one or more locations:
To provide holistic, positive support for people who require help towards work. Maintaining printing and filing of client information in line with GDPR. Collating data of hub attendance and the support gained, including and referrals to external agencies/organisations
What’s in it for you: The hubs provide a friendly environment and team of volunteers, who enjoy helping people. You will meet new people and enhance existing skills gaining a worthwhile experience in supporting others.
The skills you need: We are looking for people with a positive attitude and good basic administration and organisational skills who are happy to support the day to day running of the hub.
Notes: Appropriate training will be provided and further support where necessary. The Community hubs are led by the community for the community to provide a robust service to those who wish to access it
